Interesting post found on the ebaY forums early yesterday evening.
It seems that ebay is still flooded with fake Tiffany items and does little or nothing to stop them, as the comments in the thread indicate.
Very peculiar for an outfit embroiled in a lawsuit where the outcome could have a huge impact on the viability of the 'just a venue' business model, eh?
It should be noted however that this is not the first time since that trial went for deliberation that fake Tiffany items have been found/documented on ebay, as you can see right here in this msnbc report from November 21st, 2007:
Fighting Fakes: Tiffany vs. eBay.Hmm. That verdict does seem like it is taking a loooong time, yes?
Oh well, I guess I can only hope the Judge reads here. (snicker)
FWIW, I did visit the Tiffany website, prior to posting all this, and found no such articles for sale there via search for 'belt buckle' and through casual browsing.
Below are screencaptures of the report thread and also the alleged fake or counterfeit items, which are still active at this time, many many hours later.
Note the responses.
